白の平キャンプ場は、大峰山(おおみねさん)の登山や、龍泉寺(りゅうせんじ)の参拝に便利です。龍泉寺から手前の三叉路を洞川郵便局方面に進む際、本当に道が狭くて分かり難いので注意してください。
キャンプサイトの全容です。奥に管理棟が見えます。
管理棟の中にある帳簿に、予約した利用者の名前と、割り振られたサイトの番号が書いてあります。チェックインは１３～１５時ですが、少々早く来ても大丈夫です。
水場は一ヵ所だけです。
キャンプサイトの中は砂地になっていて、地面が平らで寝易いですし、水捌けも良いので、少々雨が降っても大丈夫です。
キャンプサイトのすぐ隣に山上川(さんじょうがわ)があります。大峰山の雪解け水が流れ込むので、真夏でも川の水は冷たいです。少し下った所にある橋の下が大きな淵になっているので水浴びが出来ます。
約１ｋｍほど離れた所に、名水・ごろごろ水の採水場があります。
ごろごろ水採水場は、徒歩なら無料ですが、自動車だと入場料500円が必要になります。
水量は豊富で、このサイズのタンクが一瞬で満タンになりました。
