青渭神社は東京都に三社あり、その一つが稲城市にあります。因みに青渭とは、水面に波が打ち寄せる様子を言います。
境内入り口の鳥居です。右前にある石碑に、神社の由来が説明されています。
石製の扁額は経年劣化でボロボロですが、良く見ると青渭神社と書いてあるのが分かります。
二の鳥居です。住宅地にある神社だからか、境内は縦長です。遠くに拝殿が見えます。
二ノ鳥居の先に、社殿と手水舎を守護するかのように安置された、二対の狛犬があります。かなり珍しい配置の仕方です。
手水舎にある手水鉢のアップです。一枚岩を刳り抜いて、龍の彫刻を施しています。
拝殿を正面から。御祭神は青沼押比賣命（あおぬま おしひめ の みこと）と、猿田彦命（さるたひこ の みこと）、天鈿女命（あめの うずめ の みこと）です。
拝殿と本殿を斜めから。昔はこの付近に大きな沼があり、その沼から御神体が出現したそうです。稲城・青渭神社は、その御神体を祀る為に創建されました。
本殿の右側には２つの社があります。
二つの社の隣に、念仏講の石碑がありました。歴史ある神社仏閣には、神仏習合時代の名残があるものです。
