世田谷公園は、D51やミニSLで有名です。

駐車場の料金は30分で100円(2023年)です。
正門は420号線沿いにありますが、他にも複数の出入口があります。
世田谷公園（通称セタコ）の象徴、噴水広場です。
世田谷公園と言えば、SL・D51です。
D51(デゴイチ)を斜めから。光の加減で薄いグレーに見えますが、実物は真っ黒です。
SLは、窯（火室）に石炭をシャベルで放り込んで蒸気を作り、その圧力で走ります。
乗務員室の座席は、経年劣化でボロボロです。
D51・272が製造されたのは、昭和14年(西暦1939)です。
駅舎から出て、パノラマ写真を撮ってみました。
SL駅舎のすぐ側に、陸上自衛隊・三宿駐屯地の入り口があります。
三宿駐屯地の向かい側に、タイムカプセルの丘があります。
丘から噴水を望みます。
タイムカプセルの丘の近くにプレーパークがあります。ここでは世田谷公園の禁止事項は適応されず、木登りから火遊びまで自由にする事が可能です。このような設備は全国的にも珍しく、画期的な試みとして各方面から評価されています。
プレーパークの近くに、ミニSLの駅があります。運航日は水・土・日・祝で、一周約3分。雨天強風は運休。料金は、小学生未満は無料、小学生は50円、中学生以上は100円です。
市民プールの横にある平和資料館では、名誉区民・美輪明宏氏の戦争体験パネルなどが展示されています。
世田谷公園の近くに、目黒区立・東山小学校があります。校舎は2018年に建て替えられていて、昔の面影は全くありません。
共済組合・睦寮の向かい側に、三宿ショッピングセンターがありました。
東山ストアーは、昭和の時代からある懐かしいお店です。
関口ベーカリーは、パンの美味しさに定評があります。
